Here's our first video! We've added accurate subtitles to an existing Beatles You Tube video, and the full script in Yiddish appears below. Enjoy!

Update: --- Well, it was our first video. First You Tube blocked ours. Oy, I worked so hard on those sub-titles!  Then they blocked the original funny dubbed video with John Lennon playing. So now all we have is the song without video. (Thank you David Zohar, for keeping this online. I hope they don't take this off too!)

But we did all the work of writing down the Yiddish, so you can follow along. And we put the original English at the bottom, so you can learn something... Not as cool as it was, but still very good. So Hebrew characters, YIVO transliteration, and English translation (original lyrics) under the "video" in that order. Enjoy!

Actually... I recommend revisiting this when you finish this course. You'll have 300 words and all sorts of useful grammar rules, so you'll be surprised how much you'll know without having to look, and when you do, you'll know what you're looking for!
