אַ ייִנגל זעט ווי אַ בריוון-טרעגער טראָגט אַ שווערע זאַק.
"וואָס האָט איר דאָרטן אין די זאַק?" פֿרעגט ער דעם בריוון- טרעגער.
"איך טראָג בריוו," זאָגט דער בריוון-טרעגער.
"אויב איר האָט אזוי פֿיל בּריוו" זאָגט דער יינגל, "פֿאַרוואָס שיקט איר זיי נישט דורך פּאָסט?"
A yingel zet vi a brivn-treger trogt a shvere zak. “Vos hot ir dortn in di zak?” fregt er dem brivn-treger.
“Ikh trog briv,” zogt der brivn-treger.
“Oyb ir hot azoy fil briv” zogt der yingel,” farvos shikt ir zey nisht durkh post?”
