Yiddish Word of the Week

The Yiddish Word of the Week email list by Shaul and Shulamit Seidler-Feller has been around for quite a while, and you can join the list by sending an email to yiddishwordoftheweek@gmail.com. Be sure and thank them for the amazing work they does! It has etymology, Yiddish phrases, Yiddish synonyms, sometimes Yiddish jokes, amazing original photography by Shulamit you name it.  It's on the web too at yiddishwordoftheweek.tumblr.com.

So all we're doing here, is taking the basic Yiddish word of the week, its definition, and a couple of Yiddish phrases, or Yiddish expressions. His list is pretty advanced, and sometimes it helps for a beginner start more basic. We aren't converting his Realplayer Yiddish audio to the click and hear format we use, just because it would be too much work, and we wouldn't be able to put this out.
